Terms and Conditions for Oven Cleaning Services

Professional oven cleaning service with safety equipment and cleaning productsThese Terms and Conditions set out the basis on which oven cleaning services are provided. By making a booking, the customer agrees to be bound by these terms, which apply to all domestic and small-scale commercial oven cleaning appointments unless otherwise agreed in writing. For the purposes of these terms, references to “we”, “us” and “our” mean the service provider, and references to “you” and “your” mean the customer requesting the service. These terms are intended to create a fair and transparent arrangement for both parties and should be read carefully before any appointment is confirmed.

Oven cleaning Fulham services are supplied on the understanding that the customer has provided accurate information about the appliance, access conditions, and any known faults or special requirements. We reserve the right to refuse or amend a booking where the information supplied is incomplete, misleading, or materially different from the actual condition of the appliance. In such cases, any quoted price may be revised to reflect the work required.

Technician preparing an oven cleaning appointment with tools and suppliesThese terms apply to all standard oven cleaning Fulham appointments and associated services such as tray cleaning, rack treatment, extraction of removable parts, and the safe application of suitable cleaning products. They do not form a contract for repair, electrical work, or appliance servicing unless such work has been expressly agreed in advance and included in the booking confirmation.

Booking Process

Bookings may be requested by telephone, email, or through a digital booking system where available. A booking is not confirmed until we have accepted the request and, where relevant, received any deposit or pre-authorisation agreed at the time of booking. We may request photographs, appliance details, or access information before confirming the appointment. This helps us assess whether the service can be completed safely and within the expected timeframe.

When you request an ovens cleaning service, you agree to provide accurate and complete information, including the type of oven, the number of appliances, the presence of self-cleaning functions, and any issues that may affect the cleaning process. If the customer fails to disclose relevant information and this results in additional work, additional charges may apply. The appointment time given is an estimated arrival window unless we state otherwise.

Close-up of a cleaned oven interior after service completionWe aim to arrive within the scheduled window, but appointment times may be affected by traffic, weather, operational delays, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Where a delay occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you. If access cannot be gained at the agreed time because no one is present, entry is restricted, or the property is unsafe, the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation or failed visit and charges may apply.

Pricing and Payments

Prices are generally based on the type and condition of the oven, the number of appliances, and any optional extras. Unless otherwise stated, all prices are quoted in pounds sterling and may be subject to change before booking confirmation. Any quotation is valid for the stated period only, or if no period is stated, for a reasonable time after issue. A quote is not a guarantee if the actual appliance differs materially from the description given.

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless a different payment arrangement has been agreed in writing beforehand. We may accept cash, card payment, bank transfer, or other payment methods notified at the time of booking. Where an invoice is issued, payment must be made by the due date shown on the invoice. Failure to pay on time may result in late payment charges, recovery action, or suspension of future services, to the extent permitted by law.

Any additional work requested on the day, including treatment of heavy carbon build-up, extra racks, or more than one appliance, will be charged separately if it is outside the original quotation. We will seek your approval before carrying out chargeable work beyond the booked scope, except where this is necessary to complete the agreed cleaning safely and you have already authorised such work in principle.

Cancellations, Rescheduling and No-Shows

You may cancel or reschedule a booking by giving reasonable notice. Unless a different cancellation policy is stated at the point of booking, cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice will normally not incur a fee. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a charge to cover reserved time, staff allocation, and operational costs. If we have already started to travel to the appointment, a travel or call-out fee may apply.

We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel an appointment where necessary due to safety concerns, staff illness, equipment failure, severe weather, or any event beyond our reasonable control. In such cases, we will seek to offer an alternative appointment time. We are not liable for any indirect loss caused by a necessary rescheduling, provided we take reasonable steps to notify you promptly and arrange a new visit.

If you are not available at the agreed time, or if we are unable to enter the property, complete access checks, or proceed because the appliance is disconnected or unsuitable for cleaning, the appointment may be treated as a failed booking. In that event, the full or partial service fee may still be payable, depending on the circumstances and the work already undertaken.

Service Standards and Customer Responsibilities

We will use reasonable care and skill when carrying out oven cleaning Fulham work. Our standard process is designed to remove grease, food residue, and carbon deposits from accessible internal surfaces, removable components, and external areas where included in the service. However, outcomes can vary depending on the age, condition, design, and prior maintenance of the appliance. Some staining, etching, discolouration, or wear may be permanent and cannot always be removed.

You are responsible for ensuring that the appliance is safe for cleaning, disconnected if required by the process, and free from faults that may create a hazard. You must tell us about fragile parts, damaged seals, loose hinges, electrical problems, or any issue that could affect safe operation. Unless expressly agreed, we do not move fitted appliances that require disconnection, plumbing work, or specialist handling. The customer must also ensure adequate access, lighting, ventilation, and a safe working environment.

Waste and residue being collected for lawful disposal after oven cleaningYou agree to remove personal items, food, cookware, and other belongings from the immediate area before the appointment begins. We are not responsible for organising contents within the appliance or kitchen area. Where we assist with moving removable parts, we will do so with reasonable care, but you remain responsible for safeguarding valuable or delicate items. Any items left inside the oven or surrounding area may be disposed of or relocated at your own risk if necessary for cleaning.

Liability and Limitations

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK law. Subject to that, our liability is limited to losses that are reasonably foreseeable and directly caused by our breach of contract or negligence. We will not be liable for indirect, consequential, or purely economic losses, including loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of opportunity.

We are not liable for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, weakened components, or failures arising from the age or condition of the appliance. Oven doors, seals, knobs, liners, and lights can deteriorate over time, and cleaning may reveal existing faults that were not visible beforehand. Where an appliance is especially fragile, we may decline to proceed or may recommend that the customer obtains specialist repair or servicing before cleaning is attempted. Any claim relating to damage must be reported within a reasonable period after completion of the service.

Although we use suitable products and standard industry methods, some appliances may react differently to heat, coatings, cleaning chemicals, or repeated use. We cannot guarantee the restoration of original appearance, the removal of all odours, or the full reversal of staining caused by long-term use. If a customer requests the use of a particular product or method against our advice, responsibility for any resulting outcome may rest with the customer to the extent permitted by law.

Waste Handling and Regulations

Final compliance review and documentation for oven cleaning serviceWe will dispose of waste generated during the cleaning process in a lawful and responsible manner. This may include grease residue, used cloths, disposable protective materials, and small quantities of spent cleaning compounds. Waste will be handled in accordance with applicable environmental, health and safety, and waste transfer requirements. We will not knowingly discharge harmful substances into drains, soil, or public areas.

The customer agrees that waste arising from the service may be removed from the property where necessary and that all such waste remains our responsibility once collected for disposal. However, household waste, packaging, or non-service-related refuse is not included unless specifically agreed. If the property has particular disposal restrictions, or if the appliance contains unusual substances, the customer must notify us in advance so that appropriate measures can be taken.

We reserve the right to refuse to use or dispose of materials that are unsafe, prohibited, or inconsistent with waste regulations. If we reasonably believe the appliance or surrounding area contains hazardous materials, asbestos-related debris, vermin contamination, or other risks requiring specialist treatment, we may suspend the service and advise that appropriate third-party action be taken. Any additional compliance costs arising from undisclosed hazards may be charged to the customer where lawful.

Complaints, Errors and Re-Visits

We aim to carry out all work to a professional standard. If you believe that an aspect of the service was not completed correctly, you should notify us within a reasonable time after the appointment. We may ask for photographs, a description of the issue, and details of the appliance so that we can assess the concern fairly. Where we accept that further work is needed and the issue falls within our responsibility, we may offer a revisit or another appropriate remedy.

Re-visits are not offered where the issue arises from matters outside our control, including hidden damage, pre-existing stains, manufacturing defects, or changes to the appliance after the service has been completed. We are also not responsible where the customer or a third party has altered, used, or cleaned the appliance after our visit in a way that affects the result. Any remedy offered will be at our discretion unless otherwise required by law.

Minor variations in finish, shine, or appearance do not necessarily amount to a defect in service, particularly where the appliance has significant built-up residue or age-related wear. Our aim is to provide a thorough and careful clean, not a guarantee of perfection in every case. These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

Data, Privacy and General Provisions

We may collect and store the information needed to manage your booking, carry out the service, process payment, and handle aftercare or complaints. Any personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection law and used only for legitimate business purposes. We will not sell your personal data to third parties. Where third-party processors are used for payment or administration, they will only handle data to the extent necessary to provide their services.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in force. No waiver of any term will be effective unless made in writing. We may update these terms from time to time, and the version in force at the time of booking will apply to your contract unless a change is required by law. Nothing in these terms gives any third party the right to enforce them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 unless expressly stated.

These terms, together with any written quotation or booking confirmation, form the entire agreement between the parties in relation to the service. They supersede any prior discussions, representations, or understandings, whether oral or written, relating to the same booking, except where fraud or statutory rights are involved. By proceeding with a booking, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the terms governing the service.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the service, these terms, or any related booking shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. The parties agree that any claim will first be dealt with in good faith and by reasonable communication before formal proceedings are started.

Oven cleaning services supplied under these terms are designed to be clear, practical, and fair. By confirming a booking, the customer accepts the booking process, payment rules, cancellation policy, liability limits, waste handling arrangements, and governing law described above. If you choose to proceed, you are entering into a contract based on these terms and any specific details agreed at the time of booking.
