Oven Cleaning Fulham Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of oven cleaning and related services by Oven Cleaning Fulham to customers within its service area. By making a booking, using our services, or allowing our technicians access to your premises, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, the following expressions have the meanings set out below:
1.1 Customer means the individual or business that requests or receives services from Oven Cleaning Fulham.
1.2 Services means oven cleaning and any additional cleaning or related services that we agree to provide.
1.3 Premises means the property where the services are to be carried out.
1.4 Technician means any employee, contractor, or representative of Oven Cleaning Fulham who carries out the services.
1.5 Agreement means the contract formed between the Customer and Oven Cleaning Fulham when a booking is confirmed.
2. Scope of Services
2.1 Oven Cleaning Fulham provides professional oven cleaning services and may also offer related appliance and kitchen cleaning services within its service area.
2.2 The specific services to be provided, together with any inclusions, exclusions, pricing, and timing, will be agreed at the time of booking.
2.3 We reserve the right to refuse to provide services where we reasonably believe that it would be unsafe, unlawful, or inappropriate to do so. This includes circumstances where there is a risk to health and safety or where the Premises are unsuitable for the performance of the services.
3. Booking Process
3.1 Bookings may be made by the Customer through our accepted booking channels. By placing a booking request, the Customer confirms that they are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
3.2 A booking is regarded as an offer by the Customer to purchase services in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The Agreement is formed only when Oven Cleaning Fulham confirms the booking.
3.3 At the time of booking, the Customer must provide accurate information, including the type, size, and condition of the oven or appliance, the address of the Premises, and any access information required. This information may affect the quoted price and the time required.
3.4 If the information provided by the Customer is incomplete or inaccurate, Oven Cleaning Fulham reserves the right to adjust the quoted price, extend the duration of the appointment, or, if necessary, decline to carry out the services.
3.5 The Customer is responsible for ensuring that an authorised adult is present at the Premises at the scheduled time to grant access and to inspect the work on completion.
4. Pricing and Quotations
4.1 Prices for our services may be provided as fixed prices or estimates based on the information supplied by the Customer at the time of booking.
4.2 Any quotation or price indication is given on the assumption that the oven and related appliances are in a reasonably clean and serviceable condition and that there are no exceptional circumstances that would materially increase the time or materials required.
4.3 If upon arrival the Technician considers that the condition of the oven or appliances is significantly worse than described, or if additional work is requested, Oven Cleaning Fulham may offer a revised price. The Customer will have the option to accept the revised price or decline the additional work. If the Customer declines and the service cannot reasonably proceed, a call-out or cancellation fee may be charged in accordance with section 7.
5. Payments
5.1 The Customer agrees to pay the full price for the services as agreed at the time of booking or as subsequently revised and agreed before the services commence.
5.2 Payment must be made using one of the accepted payment methods. Details of accepted payment methods will be made available to the Customer as part of the booking process or on request.
5.3 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due immediately upon completion of the services at the Premises. For business customers or account customers, alternative payment terms may be agreed in advance.
5.4 If payment is not made when due, Oven Cleaning Fulham reserves the right to charge interest on any overdue amount at the statutory rate until payment is received in full, together with any reasonable costs incurred in recovering the debt.
5.5 The Customer will not be entitled to withhold or set off any part of the agreed price on the basis of any complaint or claim unless agreed in writing by Oven Cleaning Fulham.
6. Access, Preparation, and Customer Obligations
6.1 The Customer must ensure that the Technician has safe and reasonable access to the Premises and the areas where the services will be performed, including parking or loading access where applicable.
6.2 The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the oven and any appliances to be cleaned are disconnected where required by law or manufacturer instructions and that gas and electrical connections are safe. Technicians are not permitted to carry out work that should only be undertaken by qualified gas or electrical engineers.
6.3 The Customer should remove any personal items from the area surrounding the oven or appliances prior to the Technician's arrival and must secure any valuables. Oven Cleaning Fulham does not accept responsibility for loss of or damage to personal property that has not been properly removed or protected.
6.4 The Customer must inform the Technician of any known defects, damage, or issues with the oven or appliances before the services begin, including loose knobs, broken seals, or faulty parts.
7. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Late Access
7.1 The Customer may cancel or reschedule a booking by providing reasonable prior notice. The specific notice period and any applicable charges will be communicated at the time of booking.
7.2 If the Customer cancels or reschedules with inadequate notice, Oven Cleaning Fulham reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee, which may be a fixed amount or a percentage of the service price, to cover administrative and scheduling costs.
7.3 If the Technician attends the Premises at the agreed time but is unable to gain access or to start the work due to circumstances within the Customer's control, this may be treated as a late cancellation, and a call-out or cancellation fee may be charged.
7.4 Oven Cleaning Fulham reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a booking due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to staff illness, severe weather, transport disruption, or equipment failure. In such cases, we will notify the Customer as soon as reasonably practicable and offer an alternative appointment. Oven Cleaning Fulham will not be liable for any indirect losses arising from such cancellations or rescheduling.
8. Service Standards and Limitations
8.1 Oven Cleaning Fulham will perform the services with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with generally accepted industry standards for domestic and commercial oven cleaning.
8.2 While we will use appropriate cleaning products and techniques, we cannot guarantee the removal of all stains, carbon deposits, or discolouration, particularly in cases of long-term or severe soiling, existing damage, or wear and tear.
8.3 Certain components of ovens or appliances, such as light bulbs, seals, or heavily corroded parts, may not be cleanable or removable without risk of damage. The Technician will exercise reasonable judgment and may decline to clean or remove any part where the risk of damage is considered significant.
8.4 The Customer acknowledges that cleaning may reveal pre-existing damage, defects, or discolouration that were not visible beforehand. Oven Cleaning Fulham is not responsible for such pre-existing conditions.
9. Liability
9.1 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
9.2 Subject to clause 9.1, Oven Cleaning Fulham will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic losses, including loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of opportunity, arising out of or in connection with the services or these Terms and Conditions.
9.3 Oven Cleaning Fulham's total liability for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the services or these Terms and Conditions, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall be limited to the total price paid or payable by the Customer for the specific services giving rise to the claim.
9.4 The Customer must inspect the work immediately upon completion. Any issues or concerns should be raised with the Technician or reported to Oven Cleaning Fulham as soon as reasonably practicable and in any event within a reasonable period after the services are completed. Failure to notify us within a reasonable time may affect our ability to investigate and resolve the matter.
9.5 Oval Cleaning Fulham is not responsible for any damage arising from faulty or poorly maintained appliances, defective surfaces, or materials that are unsuitable for cleaning, nor for any damage caused by the failure of the Customer to follow usage or aftercare instructions provided by the Technician.
10. Waste Handling and Environmental Regulations
10.1 In the course of providing services, our Technicians may generate waste such as removed grease, residues, disposable cleaning materials, and packaging.
10.2 Oven Cleaning Fulham will handle and dispose of waste arising directly from the services in accordance with applicable waste management and environmental regulations relevant to the service area.
10.3 Where waste is required to be removed from the Premises, it will be collected, transported, and disposed of using appropriate methods and, where necessary, by authorised waste carriers or facilities.
10.4 The Customer agrees not to request or permit the Technician to dispose of waste in a manner that would breach environmental or waste regulations, including unlawful dumping or discharge of substances.
10.5 Oven Cleaning Fulham may use cleaning products and materials selected for effectiveness and safety. Safety data sheets or information about chemicals used can be made available on request where reasonably practicable.
11. Property Damage and Keys
11.1 If the Customer provides keys, codes, or other access devices for the Premises, it is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that such access arrangements are lawful and properly authorised.
11.2 Oven Cleaning Fulham will take reasonable care of any keys or access devices provided and will return them at the completion of the appointment or as otherwise agreed.
11.3 In the event of any alleged damage to the Premises or property, the Customer must notify Oven Cleaning Fulham as soon as reasonably possible, providing details and, where available, supporting information. We may request access to inspect the alleged damage before any repairs are undertaken.
12. Customer Data and Privacy
12.1 Oven Cleaning Fulham will collect and use certain personal information about the Customer, such as contact details, service history, and payment information, for the purpose of administering bookings, providing services, and handling enquiries and complaints.
12.2 Customer information will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws. We will take reasonable steps to keep personal data secure and to prevent unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
12.3 The Customer agrees that we may contact them using the details provided for the purposes of arranging appointments, confirming bookings, requesting feedback, or providing information about our services, in line with applicable regulations and any consent given.
13. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
13.1 Oven Cleaning Fulham may update or amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will take effect for new bookings from the date on which they are published or otherwise notified to the Customer.
13.2 The Terms and Conditions in force at the time the booking is confirmed will apply to that Agreement unless a change is required by law or regulatory authority.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
14.1 These Terms and Conditions and any Agreement between the Customer and Oven Cleaning Fulham, as well as any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
14.2 The parties agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or their subject matter or formation.
15. General Provisions
15.1 If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found by a court or other competent authority to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision shall be deemed deleted, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
15.2 No failure or delay by Oven Cleaning Fulham in exercising any right or remedy under these Terms and Conditions shall constitute a waiver of that or any other right or remedy.
15.3 The Customer may not assign or transfer any of their rights or obligations under these Terms and Conditions without the prior written consent of Oven Cleaning Fulham. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations to another organisation as part of a business transfer or reorganisation, provided that such transfer does not materially affect the Customer's rights under the Agreement.
15.4 These Terms and Conditions, together with any written confirmation of booking and any additional terms expressly agreed in writing, constitute the entire agreement between the Customer and Oven Cleaning Fulham in relation to the services and supersede any prior understandings or agreements.
